A good solid foundation is the key to a successful asphalt installation. This starts with sub-grading and road base once drainage issues have been addressed. If you have good drainage and a proper foundation in place, your asphalt will last longer and require less maintenance. Compaction of road base and asphalt, also plays a key role in the longevity of your asphalt pavement. Stellar uses a commercial grade vibratory roller to compact all our asphalt pavements. Using the right equipment to install an asphalt driveway/parking lot will ensure a proper installation. Once, you have your asphalt paving down, there will be maintenance requirements we recommend in order to protect your investment. This would include Seal Coating every 2-3 years and filling cracks as soon as they arrive. Preventive measures will help you get the most out of your asphalt investment.
